He is very credible riding /racing mx for years. Says it is the best Honda yet.

I am really looking forward to feedback about this year. I'm still rocking the 2007, and it's either the Honda or gasp... the ktm.

What is the diff in the forks? I'm sure the added power will be appreciated by the faster guys. (Just a little jab at the Honda faithful with the bng comment Wink ).

Dual chamber psf forks. That should lead to less seal stiction, and a lower chance of a day ending seal leak since the pressure chamber is in the inside of each fork.

Sounds good. I haven't had the pleasure of having to deal with the air forks on any of these bikes yet.

That's a lot of changes, they've been in a generational 4 year pattern for a while. Good or them!

I like the hondas but just like kawis , cosmetically they look the same sine like 2010. I understand theres alotta changes on the new model n i hope their for the better. Ive ridden every crf 450 n extremly modded crf 450's and if the 15 honda is anything like the 14 id save my money. I would take a 14/15 ktm 350 over the 14 crf 450.

I'm intrigued myself. I've been riding my 09 that's pretty dialed in with the lowering link, springs, and remap. I usually don't buy new current year bikes, but they have my attention with this one.

09-12 and the 13-15 Hondas are very cosmetically different among a ton of other things.

The '15 is an ENTIRELY different animal...motor-wise. Better forks, too.

With the 2015 250F getting some cool changes, I believe the 450 will be really cool.

It wasn't an REM race. It was on the main track. You know, the one with jumps.

Rode both CRF250R and CRF450R at Honda 2015 launch few weeks back. 450 forks are definitely better than this year, the balance is better and no need to worry about air leakage. In few sessions the track was watered too much, so the three stage EFI selection button was really handy and you could feel the difference. Malpensa track is hard pack so the basic map (stage1) suited best when it was not muddy, but the stage 2 was much better when it was slippery. The stage three was too much for me (old and slow) in that track, but I would think it would be really good on sandy track. My brother, who is A-class rider here in Finland, felt that the new bike is faster and also the balance is improved a lot. Also the front brake was much better (I run oversize Braking kit on my 2014). So all in all, those changes make difference, but....

The CRF250R was amazing! The biggest thing is the new Showa Separate Function Air TAC Fork, it's best stock fork I have ever ridden. It's really responsive in the small bumps, but yet works really well in bigger stuff and over jumping stuff. I didn't plan to test the bottoming but forgot where I was in track and over jumped one hill straight to bottom of it. While flying over the landing I had plenty of time to think about should my fractured bones to be operated in Italy or fly to Finland to be fixed Smile Thankfully the suspension worked surprisingly well and I was able to hold on and even stop before flying out of the track. I have ridden this year both A-kit air KYB and true B-kit spring Showa and this felt really similar to B-kit (which I liked more). Bike felt really light and it was easy to turn to inside in corners. Also engine felt more powerful than the 2014 and as in 450 the possibility to test the different maps easily is really good. I have ridden CRF450 last four years, but I'm thinking getting CRF250 next year once I have chance to test those back to back in more familiar tracks.

the triple chamber air forks are great (only available on the suzuki and the 250 honda- not the 450 honda) - all the other air forks are rubbish! that alone is enough of a reason to not get a 450 honda in my opinion

with regards to the factory edition ktm - i think ill just wait till next july for the production model 2016 bike rather than paying 50% more for a factory edition in february!!! more than happy to ride my 2015 ktm 350 in the mean time

im sure treys forks are exactly the same as the ones you would get on a production bike Whistling

we're talking about production model forks here not factory stuff- if you think the bike you buy from the showroom is anything like the one trey is racing then you are very naive

i havent been impressed with any production level air forks apart from the triple chamber ones- i thought they were great. Almost bought a 450 suzuki because they come with the new triple chamber air forks but ended up with a 350 ktm because i thought it was more fun to ride!
