Well its official. Honda has a trans recall on these bikes. I talked to Honda shop and they said they need to split the cases! I bought my bike from my son in law (actually traded my 15 crf250r and some boot for it) with only 14.8 hours on it. Its got 18.8 on her now. I'm 52 today and wonder if I should just wait it out? I'm not a gear banger. I know there is no time limit on this recall. just don't want to make a bad situation worst. Wonder under what conditions these are failing and how many units have failed.

Well that went better than expected. I just joined vital today and am still finding my way around. My dealer didn't even know about this recall. You sir are no help. But I would suggest that you seek personal help!

Really no Help ? So the thread that talks in detail about the issue was no Help ? You WONDER to much and don't; read enough. I get personal help from my bike every weekend, that's my therapy. That was joke .... Get it ? lol
