My guess is they are not to happy with Star, JGR, Eleven 10 and the other "factory supported" teams and may just run the show themselves in 2014.
Been talking with a few high profile riders, but unsure as to who.

The Shop
Seems like a great way to show off the new bikes.. If true.
Yamaha seems to want to have Teams buy all the "Racing Parts", including YMCs "Engine Program", from them. From the on-set it seemed as if Yamaha was looking to develop a program much like what you see in Indy-Cars...etc. Engine Leasing Programs & the like...
There's just one Problem: the perception that the product is Inferior & they're NOT Winning...ANYTHING.
The Factories have been backing away from Racing in a rapid & direct fashion. To some extent they've succeeded in letting others pay for their Marketing: look a Suzuki! Damn, they look pretty smart! They're spending virtually NOTHING for the 2 "Suzuki" Teams that're getting the Best Results & the most Media Coverage.
I'm jus' observing...
It would awesome to see Yamaha field a true factory team again. If true no doubt they are looking for a big budget sponsor to help pay for it.
I'd love to see this happen.

LOL
One would think OEMs would start competing to give teams more support. Seems you can pretty much exposure buy sending any team ten standard bikes in a container, instead of building a multi million set-up?
Thoughts?
