1) Ronnie Mac owns goon riding. I cringe when I see anyone else attempt to amuse me with their goon riding.

2) I have two thumpers so I'm not a member of the Taliban but dang, I love me some 2-stroke action

3) anyone have any experience with Eric Gorr's 2-stroke big-bore kits? In addition to my thumpers, I've got an RM250 and I'm tempted to stick a big bore in it.

Thanks for the vid.

That vid just brought a smile to my face. Awesome, I love it!

The bike looks awesome to but I can't help wondering how a Akrapovic or Scalvini silencer would look on that bike Wink

Great ride vid! Bike looks awesome!

Agree with 563 regarding the goon riding, cringe worthy.

That bike will be pro-class legal in Canada in MX2!! I hope someone shows up on a Service CR or KX up here this year!

The ultimate ride, IMO, would be an '07 CR125 frame with a 150SX engine it. Any plans AJ?

I have a 2012 YZ250 and we sent it off to Eric a couple of months ago and had him put a 300 kit on it. He'll port it however you want but if you're a rider like me who rides offroad and regular moto, I recommend having it ported to have a smooth powerband. It'll put the power to ground more like a 4 stroke and it'll be easier ride throughout the whole powerband. There's a little bit of hit in the midrange but it's smooth as butter everywhere else. I, along with pretty much everyone else who's had their bikes big bored by Eric, have nothing but praise for his work.

Very nice bike!!! How many ponies does that sucker deliver? Weight compare to the banger version? Kind of amazed how the 250Fs are pushing 40+ Hp, KTM is up to 42 I think, close to what the 250 smokers delivers? Still KTM SX250 is close to 50, used to be 50+ a few years ago stock, seems they detuned it to make it more civilized?

Brave new world...

I've ridden a 295cc Eric Gorr Honda CR motor. it was the 01 motor, in the last gen (02-07) chassis.

The thing wasn't jetted right, but I got that sorted out, as it had the PWK and not that piece of shit Mikuni TMX.

It's as if the extra 45cc fill the "hole" from idle to about 5500rpms. I say hole, but that motor doesnt really have a hole, as the 00-01 CR250 motor is the best japanese 250 motor ever made. It's clear it makes more power everywhere, but I think it's greatest asset is the fact that you can stick the bike in 3rd, take the shifter off, and motor past anything on the track, including 450s.

Absolutely amazing bikes, only thing that scares me away is the price tag.

I can never ever get enough of that sweet sound! The rider was a little 'tarded out in some bits, but i just love that sound. Music to my ears!

Clearly the end is a marketing strategy towards the average two stroke rider.

I do miss that sound....

That is the bike itself. Send your stuff to Gorr anytime near a Loretta's/Ponca/Mini O's, and don't be surprised if you don't see it for 3 months, and get it back filthy, albeit bored/ported.

The guy can port some jug, no doubt, but his business practices leave something to be desired. Don't bother emailing him or calling him either. You essentially send your parts to a black hole, and just sit and wait until you get them back. You will, eventually.

125, I have had Eric do big bore kits for 3 separate bikes and the turn around time was typically 2 weeks. When
I called with questions, Eric always took more than enough time to answer my questions. I never had one problem
with his work or his service.

and this is ALWAYS the story with Eric. You'll have one guy who waits 3 months and can't get ahold of him, and you'll have another who got great service. He has always been hit or miss. It's probably timing. People are still willing to send it away after reading these stories, hoping they are the guy who gets the good service.

I hoped I was. I was not, however.

That's weird, every time I've had him do work he's readily available and will talk until every question is answered. Turnaround was normally 2 weeks but he's always done my work from January to March.

I'm not impressed of that video . Like all other videos someone is playing on a backyardtrack trying kill the engine with overreving and ripping the cluch , it says nothing about how the bike really works. Btw it's awsome looking bike.
