check your valve clearances, that won't even cost you money and is a common issue with four strokes.

Also, a little more info on your bike will help with a sight unseen diagnosis. LIke roughly how many hours on the bike, if it recently started doing it or has done it as long as you owned it, if you bought it new or not, etc.

Hook up your laptop, run some diagnostics and check for viruses.

Swap tanks with someone to rule out fuel pump. Next I'd swap throttle bodies. Could be clogged injector or bad MAP sensor. Pod luck!

Sounds like it might be something electrical. Other than the bog, does it seem to be running alright?

It has 70 hrs new crank rod cylinder piston rings I rode it Sunday bogged once changed the map in it cuz it was 100 few weeks ago now 75-80 did great after that then Tuesday night bogged twice 4th gear pinned and 3 rd gear bottom acts like a 2 stroke with the fuel turned off them it did it tonight twice ride great 1 and 2 practice 3rd bogged twice at the end I wondered on fuel pump, wiring harness, injector, coil, or something else

We had the fuel pump go on one of our's it never bogged it just stalled randomly and couldn't get back going again. I'd try swapping the tank to rule that out but ours gave no bogging symptom's.

I had this on my '10. The injector was full of mud/dust. I bought a new injector which improved it for a while, but eventually needed a fuel pump as well. A friend has had a similar issue with his which turned out to be a faulty TPS. To prove it he ran for a few races with the TPS disconnected and it ran better. Worth a try before you buy one. I now run a dirt screen in the top of the fuel tank as that dirt in the injector must have got in through the fuel.

Check the wiring harness for any bare spots, look closely. I ended up buying a fuel pump for my 09 KX only to have it end up being a teeny tiny bare spot underneath the tank that was grounding out on bumps and made the bike bog. Still kick myself to this day.

Remove the Gas cap and place a YZ250 under it.

belive ir or not,it can be as simple as you are getting to much oil on ur air filter, clean it again and dont saturate it as heavy with the filter oil, makes it bog or even act like a fouled plug, hope you try this easy no cost thing before wasting money you may not have to spend

Is fuel injection the new four stroke? Carb maintenance: clean out the pilot occasionally. FI debugging- hire a computer geek.

you could try the injector, flush it out with carb cleaner. Mone had dirt in it, cleaning it out improved it, but I'm guessing that dirt had done some damage on the pump on its way through as a new pump was what cured it. You'll only know that by swapping the tank with someone. My friends was the throttle position sensor. Try running with the wire on the tps disconnected. If its better then that's your likely issue.
