They are solid bikes, I wouldn't complain about anything.

One thing that you may check periodically would be the bracket mounted to the frame behind the right radiator, it holds an electrical component. There is a 90 degree bend in the metal and it will eventually crack and snap unless Kawi fixed them. I found out the hard way with it braking during a moto and a piece poked a hole in my radiator....but thats another story. That part was recalled after mine decided to fail.

Have fun bro man.

Theres a picture for now haha, sorry will get better one's later. So far the bike is AMAZING! I truly love the thing it handles much better then my 09 did and is much faster. The throttle response and motor on the bike is awesome. The brakes are good everything seems good, the suspension does need setup though I can't give a great opinion on it yet but so far really enjoying the bike.

I'm about to buy one of these too. But ive heard that there have been problems with TI Valves and Throttle Position Sensor? Any experience, anyone?

Also, how it feels to ride? My current bike is '08 yamaha yz250f and i like how it feels but it has no fuel injection and it has so many hours that i need a new bike..

I would consider the KX250F almost the standard for 250Fs.

im going to tear it down at 25 hours and rebuild the top end.. Ill probably get the head ported and ssee what Pro Circuit recommends at that time.

I've ridden an '07 and '09 yamaha and owned an '09 kawi also and the fuel injection is awesome. The yamaha would seem slow compared to it for sure go for it!

Im jealous of your pro circuit goodies Dry The first thing I do when i get the money will be getting the suspension done and setting it up for me I don't see a reason for motor work.

Put some U4 in it (Or Pro-5 if ya fell the need to spend the x-tra $).

Those things respond REAL WELL to race gas.

Hey when are you sending me my forks? Grinning 4.3 hours on the bike and not a single problem, the quality is deffinetly upped from my 09 which always had plastic bolts falling out. One complaint is ditch the black sidecovers! Looked trashed after 30 mintues. Only thing I adjusted was the idle the suspension settings I will mess with when I get the time overall though the suspension is very nice and plush. I also need to break it down torque all the bolts and grease everything up but time is limited being 17 with two jobs and racing all the time. I added the trailtech hourmeter from rockymountain.com and it was easy to install and works great, also added some numbers from factorybacking which look good, and some acerbis handguards which were only $20 from rockymountain and are the best pair of handguards ive had compared to the powermadds ($50) and ufo ($40) I will post another update at around 15 hours if anyones interested.

They are great bikes.Keep a eye on the coil bracket as they do have a tendancy to break.Kawi has a updated one. Also build a guard for the TPS sensor. It sticks way out there and is easily broke.

Valve seats chip away after about 10hrs. But anyone fast will build the engine so thats not a common problem unless kept stock.

well, i had a yamaha yz250f -08. I was looking for a kawi because all the reviews and bike tests was kind of saying that kawi is most suitable for me, but i was open minded for all japanese bikes. Then i got the opportunity to ride one and here we are! It just felt amazing.

compared to my '08 yamaha, top of my mind are these two things: clutchbombing = GONE!, kawi has way more power and since it has fuel injection it doesnt bog etc. and turning.. it's just turning like there was somekind of autopilot on it!

i tried it at supersoft sandtrack though, but still! Just cant wait to go ride it!
