HEY im looking to buy a 2011 250f this weekend. I myself think i prefer the suzuki 250f, it looks nice and seems like it has a lot of really nice changes, but i cant find any reviews or videos on that bike. Does anyone know anything about this bike bad or good or should see trying looking at a kawi or something? thanks!!

Suzuki is the 250f to beat this in 2011 I have the 2007-2009 Generation bike and it's better than any other bike i've tested, Pick the suzuki and you won't regret it. They handle really well in the sand down here.

Must be nice to have some money to burn. Suzukis are definitely nice. How much is a complete top end rebuild for one?

I just got the 2011 Kawi 250 and it's an awesome bike. The power is great, it handles awesome and the suspension works really well stock. I was a little worried about the SFF suspension at first, but after I rode it I was really impressed with it. I havent ridden the Suzuki yet so I cant compare the two against each other, but I can say you wouldnt be disappointed with the Kawi.

Complete meaning Cams,Valves,Piston,Timing Chain, And all the little stuff probably 500-800 if you know someone to do it cheap. But if you maintain the bike make sure you always have a clean filter in it will give you 3x's the life of a two stroke top end.

yah see the kawi i haerd lacked a little power but the single fucntion forks made up for everything, im hearing great things bout the suspensions i wish the zook had them but the zooks still got showa forks, which make the (SFF) forks and its got the showa piggyback rear shock which the kawi don have soo.. idk those are my 2 favorite bikes though ive always rode a suzuki and my dad riding the kawi lol

ha dude $1500 take home then payments off about $100-$120 a month or you dont got to pay it till the year is over or you can pay a head of time pay $240 and you dont got to worry about any payments for 2 monthes, its not to bad to buy a bike these days as long as your credits good. Smile

I've always been a Kaw guy. Then I got to ride my buddies 2010 RMZ 250, and it was badass.
The 2011 is just an improved 2010.
With fuel injection and a new motor, it really rips. It felt just as fast as my Kaw, but handled much better. And nothing turns like a zook.
If I was buying a new 2011, it would be between yellow and green. Either one one would be a great choice.
Good luck and enjoy your new ride!

I just bought a 2010 Honda a little over a month ago and let one of my buddies race it. he has a 2011 kawi 250f, and he said my bike was faster and handled way better than the kawi. I personally like the Honda better than the kawi, bike is all around better, suspension moto and way cheaper to maintain. But really to buy a bike is all on preference, look into testing other peoples bikes first, that is by far the best way to pick the bike

I've raced 250 2 strokes and 4 strokes and I USUALLY get 20 hours out of a 2 stroke piston and I almost always get between 50-60 hours out of 4 stroke pistons.

I've got a 2010 crf250 and love it. I've ridden the 2010 rmz250 and like everything about it especially how it handles and corners. Before I got my crf I came off an 07 rmz250 but switched to honda because of the false neutrals I hit on my rmz's and didn't want to risk buying new rmz and have the same problem. The 2010 rmz was honestly all around better than my crf but still managed to hit about 2-3 false neutrals when I rode it and this was a brand new bike with probably 10 or less hours on it. If the rmz250s didn't have this false neutral problem I would buy one in a heart beat over any other bike.

The new honda's are sweet. Haven't rode anything else lately but rode my buddies and it's a pretty decent improvement over my 08. Though my 08 now needs a top end, I believe i will just let it sit for a while until I can come up with the money for a top end. My 09 ktm 250sx is way more fun/faster.

Get the suzuki there have been a lot of issues with the kawi 250f. Somebody ruined a set of the SFF forks in the first 20 minutes of riding there brand new 2011 and I was at PC today and all the team green guys had there suspension in there and it looks like PC changes almost everything about the internals but they do have a lot of stuff available already.

Dude I love this thing. It's stock other than the suspension. The bottom end isn't the best, but mid and top are excellent. But with it being efi you can remap it to fix that I'm sure. I've put quits a few hours on it already and have yet to have a problem other than the top subframe bolts. He's probably a little big for it but it will still work good for him I'm sure. Just tell him to getthe suspension done for him and have fun. Oh and check the oil tube out of the motor, it will usually fill up pretty quick. I'm not sure who it is, but someone makes a kit to fix that problem
