Nah, just kidding. I made this in Photoshop. I wonder if AJ will be making use of the new CRF250 chassis. It would probably require some heavy modifications. The engine cradle is shaped very weird. If I were a rich man, this would be my bike.

Well honestly, If I was gonna build my own bike. (which I'm planning on doing exactly this) I would build a 2005 or newer engine, that's right. And do our mods on it. Then send the cylinder away and have it bored to 144cc. Then, fatty pipe and shorty silencer. Since the 250 2 strokes are now allowed in everything except pro, you could still race it. I'm not so sold on the new frames. I mean, I'm sure they are better, but the 2002 and up CR125 really is a good bike, minus the lack of motor work. I wish I could do the mod to the stock intake for a magazine and then have them run the 07 125 shootout again. :-)

Well, problem is finding that person. We just sold the CR125 mini yesterday. We thought that would be a perfect bike for a female or short rider. We had very few bites, and took over a month to sell. We only had $1200 wrapped up in it. But for us, having $6000 in a bike that may or may not sell is tough. Plus, that is after selling off the motor, for the CRF and the roller for the other. Until those are gone, more like $10k just sitting there. The CR500AF we sold in less than a week. So basically you have to look at the benefits as well. Same profit, but less time in the kennell. We are gonna do a CR250 mini based off the CRF150R frame as well. But too many projects :-) Wonder when the CRF150R is gonna go aluminum...
The CRF150R isn't going aluminum unless you make one because they have been discontinued to my knowledge.

Put an '01 cylinder reed CR125 engine in there and you'd have a great bike.
Okay one of my sons ride a 2002 CR125. What are you saying I should or that I can put on it to make it a better bike?
