Nice bike. Very fun to ride even more fun after the suspension was done.

Got my 08/09 motor one, for 5800 OTD last November. They seem to be the most trouble free of the EFI 450's, going by all the reprts of problems on TT with the KX and CRF. The only problem I've had is a lost rear fender bolt the second race out. Get it tuned with the Yoshimura box and it'll be great, the other plug in controllers like the PC5 can't change the ignition to get more top end (although I haven't done this yet, but I will the next time I get to Houston and can stop by Tejas Motorsports).

gear it up a little bit, and if it starts popping or hesitating, put a new plug in it. Good bike.

6 months from now the dealers will be letting 2010's out the door for that price.

Look for a new '08. They will have the '09 engine and everything between 08 and 09 is exactly the same. You should be able to find a new 08 for $5000-5500. Bought my 08 a few months ago with DLC coated and revalved suspension and some other parts for $5500 and it has been great so far, turn on a dime and tons of power!

I really like my Suzuki! No complaints. The Fox Shock is the best shock I've ever ridden on and I think it really compliments the Suzuki's already good handling characteristics.

Thats way too much money. There are still left over 2008's (exact same bike) which have the updated 2009 engines installed by the factory selling for $4999, and thats a decent deal. but anywhere near $6K and you should just wait for the 2010 model, which should be a much better bike.

I really like my 08 RMZ450. The only complaint I have is the suspension, but that could be solved with a revalve.
