What's up everyone so about id say two years ago I bought an 03 kx 250 out of Vegas for 1800. It was pretty clean when I got it and it didn't even have the clutch cover worn down. It's taken me about a year and a half to build this thing with adding parts and storing parts along the way and many hours spent on eBay finding parts. But here is the bike when I got it.
I've seen a few kx builds and they kinda all look the same to me so I wanted to do something different. Stripping the bike down was pretty easy besides getting the bearing out the swingarm. As I wanted to do a raw frame it took me about 3 days to get all the paint off and it was kind of a bitch because the aircraft remover only worked for about 70% of the frame.
After all that was done I sent it off to powder coating with the frame and swingarm. I did a Casper clear on my frame and a satin black on my swingarm and subframe. I think it turned out pretty sweet.
I bought a soda blaster for the motor and other various parts and its the best thing I've ever purchased. I also threw a new piston and rings in it. I was looking at getting my forks coated but I found a whole set of Showa forks from a kx 250f for 300 bucks which was way cheaper then getting them coated. I also had to put on a Magura hydraulic clutch and I will never ride without one again it's that badass. Also found a sweet carbon fiber ignition cover on eBay. Enough of me talking here's the rest of the pics. My buddy Brandon bunch has some more pics on his Instagram if you want to check it out @theofficialbrandonbunch

Also when you put on the kxf forks guessing you are running the kxf triples, did you have to change the stem shaft?
