Just picked up an 03 250 that I can't believe is as clean as it is. I am always searching Craigslist for a gem and found one!

It is sprung for my weight, came with PC pipe, fmf pipe, stock silencers, PC pegs from 03 era , stock pegs, works connection perch and clutch lever, v force reeds, aluminum stand , stock springs, and title from original owner. Absolute score!

Can't wait to ride this weekend!

Hardly a mark on the bike. No signs of being ridden more than 3 hours.

WOW such a great find. I bought one new back in the day and always kick myself for selling it. Was easily one of the best bikes I ever owned. ENJOY

In 10 or 20 years, especially with e bikes, that is gonna be as gold as an Elsinore. Good score!

Edit: get the nice parts now (hrc, boyen sen etc) before it becomes too rare/expensive.

Bro! That is amazing. I got an 03 in my shop right now and its hands down my favorite bike. You gotta tell us how much you paid. That is stunning how clean that is.

Soooo true! I'm just finally dealing with the 4 stroke take over, I can take an E-bike insurgency.

Agreed.....I bought one years ago and literally couldn't bring myself to ride. I love it to death but I completely loath it at the same time. lol

Replace the Mikuni carb with a Keihin air striker from a 2000 cr250 and you're good to go! Congrats!

Holy shit that bikes clean. the fork covers havn't even turned yellow yet. I'd take the seat/ plastics off and save them out of the sun if you plan to ride it, but i'd be afraid to get it dirty myself. Great find!

Jesus!! That is a fucking score if I ever saw one!! Good job dude! That bike was worth quite a bit more. Oh...and congrats!!

Reminds me of 3 years ago when I bought my 06' RC replica. It was $3000.00 just sitting at the race track , fresh everything.....I bought that thing very next morning from people I knew , but didn't know they had it for sale.

It's a shame to ride it, but I also need a good 250, so this is it! I'll take care of it. But it does suck to think it won't look like this in a couple weekends

Before you do why don't you pull off that pristine clutch cover and send it to me. Lol. I think I've seen bikes on the showroom floor with more toe wear. And ya know, the bikes that I've tried to preserve I don't enjoy. Take good care of it, show it love......but use it for what it was designed to do and go ride the wheels off of it. However, my advice is take lots of pictures right now. Years down the road you'll be really happy you did. It's easy to get excited and just wanna go rail a berm......but get some good detailed pics of the bike before. That thing is a true gem. I got a real soft spot for 03's

That's an interesting rear rotor?...,.and it looks like you got a bonus on the rims too. Nice find!

Yes it looks like whoever bought this, decked it out, then never used the damn thing. The rear rotor looks beefy as hell. Spline drive nipples on the spokes, and rims appear upgraded, zip ty axle blocks, anodized banjo bolts , all sorts of small upgrades.

Absolutely stoked for you!

In 2015 found an '01 with a little bit more wear, but in similar condition. Can't help but post a pic of it every time a thread like this pops up. This is the coolest thing that I own.

Triple Nickel bro, I'd say that garage and tool container are the second coolest thing you own!
