What was awe inspiring was watching Travis crash three times in the main and still win.

Very cool. Odd this about tall people vs short people and the benefits in racing. They make his tallness favorable, some said similar things about DV12 etc. Still I feel like that a post a couple of months ago about how tall people are at a disadvantage especially in corners where a higher statue needs a steeper angle to turn.

Well whatever...

Cool vid, still miss the smokers. Seems racing was more interesting because they where harder to handle? Anyone with balls can do a double or a triple on a F...

Well whatever...

How I miss these days. Angry chainsaws blitzing the track! I got to agree, the bikes were so slim back then, now they are big turds.

Where are the numbnuts to tell us we're all just a bunch of nostalgic phucks for getting worked up over the 125 class? My guess is that they also realize a crime was committed against the sport of motocross as we know it here in the US. Killing off the 125 class has got to be the absolute most stupid thing that has happened in this sport.

I watch old clips more than current races.

I'd rather watch someone like Travis on a 250 get tenth against Bubba on a 450.

Better yet, Bubba or RC smoke all the 250Fs on a 125.

I was there and remember it like it was yesterday, and still have the signed poster. Travis was out riding at Pax a few days before that. It was cool to see a kick ass pro kill it at your local track. I also got to meet Mike Bell at the Checker burger across the street.

Man, that was cool! Tracks were so much slower! Guess a track like that would be a bit tiring on a 450 eh Smile . I just started riding my RM250 again, the 2 stroke is so much fun after years on a 450. I think I may sell the 450 and get a 125 to feel like a hero on.
