2000/2001 Team Honda pictures

I am thinking about building a replica of the 2000 or 2001 Honda RC250, like ridden by Windham, Tortelli, Lusk, therefore I am looking for detailed photos of these bikes. But I am having a hard time finding good pictures on the internet. Were there perhaps magazine articles made on these bikes? Your help will result in another built topic!

Another try. Does anyone have detailed pictures of the 2000/2001 factory Honda's? I have some parts already and need to decide on what replica they end up!

You may want to have a look on the website vrmweb.com/photos.asp as it has a huge amount of pictures for pretty much every team since the late 90s. And you can search for photos by either rider, team or race event.

Does anyone have more pictures or scanned magazine articles of the 2000 and 2001 RC250M's? Those would really help with my build! I collected a few more parts over the last weeks and want to decide which replica I want to build...

I found this article with picture of Ezra Lusk's 2001 RC250M, does anyone have a bigger copy of it with the full article? I like this bike a lot! Seems to be a Dirtbike Magazine article.

LaRocco's team used them..I've read tests too on that year Honda and they say the stocker is hard to beat...I took all the paint off mine and it looks more like the first two pics..Just checked the specs for the '02 it say's HGA Works type...

They aren't stock, per se, they are HRC in-house pipes that are close to stock.

Corne' is that you?

The 01 bikes had electric powervalves. guess you could say it was a prototype RC valve of sorts. its on the other side of that RC MXdN bike that never got ridden. apparently that was a Tortelli bike that Watts threw together at the last minute.

What's the difference between HRC and HGA?..A thinner gauge than stock could be the only difference..

I got that tortelli replica hot wheels bike....it's pretty detailed

He was still Kawi in 2001, was it steel city and done? Crazy!

Ricky indeed raced Kawasaki in 2001 but quit after the last national in steel city.
When he switched to honda they would let him race a 01 CR250 for MXoN only.
