A bit disappointed but it is what it is, in both classes there are only two contender left.

I don't see Roczen, Peick, Anderson, Baggett, Pourcel, Tickle, Barcia become champion so it's all about Tomac and Dungey.

Same goes for the 250 class with Webb scoring a DNF and Cianciarulo back from injury it'll be a fight between J. Martin and Musquin.

I know but althought I'd love to see Alldredge to win this championship I don't see it happen. And I don't believe anybody other than Tomac or Dungey getting the title.

How many title contenders were in the MX2 class in the GPs--BEFORE the season started?

The chance that somebody else than Tomac, Dungey, Martin or Musquin become champion is indeed very slim. It's still possible but very slim ...

Oh.
How many title contenders were there in whatever class Carmichael entered from 1997 through to 2007?

Refresh my memory about how many years he raced the 125 class.

Oh.

Wait, wait......he's only X years old, the decision is not his, the rules weren't changed to keep him in the class, yada yada yada.

Didn't you get the memo. No bench racing after round 1, wait until the championship is mathematically locked up and then start the usual threads. Not worth starting these kinds of threads anymore apparently. But to your point, the guys you mentioned are currently head and shoulders above their respective fields. Anything can happen throughout the season, but right now the most interesting plots, to me, are: Will Roczen be able to overcome his injury and resulting points deficit to defend his title? Can AC keep it on two wheels and battle with Musquin & Martin for wins and the championship? Who will emerge as the best of the "also rans," in the 450 class (Pourcel, Anderson, Peick, Baggett, Barcia)? On to Glen Helen.

Anyone can go down at any time. Wait till round 7 and then it will be more sorted out. Plus the race is per week enjoy that why does the title matter more than the weekly entertainment of the racing.

Hate to say it, but.... I dont see AC making it all the way to the end. I really hope im wrong, he is so talented, but i dont think his maturity is there yet. Not enough to calm down and ride within his limits.

I don't see Tomac or Dungey finishing off the podium unless it's a dnf. They were on another level in the first moto and then Tomac went even more beast mode in the second. The battle for 3rd is pretty wide open right now until Roczen gets healthy and Canard is back.

In the 250's, I need to see a round or two more before I discount guys like AC. JMart and Musquin are for sure in it to win it though.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Eli dominate the first round his rookie year on the 250s but couldn't win for the rest of the year with such a huge lead? I belive there are still 15 title contenders in each class, and yes I said 15. One round doesn't mean a thing when they have 22 more motos ahead.

Depend on how the next rounds are going.
If somebody get injured or not.

250's

I see #1 and 25# all others are filling up.
AC doesn't ride smart need to stay in his limits, he is fast but not there yet.
Ok he didn't raced for a while and need to get used to again.

450's

Right now I see #5 and #3 if they stay on the bike it will be a 2 contender battle.
There are not many who can go that pace.
#94 can if he is healthy
#41 need to get back on the bike

All others fast guys but some riding over there limit sometimes #51, # 21
Some are not there yet #377 and others.
Some running out of steam #22

However next weekend everything could be completely different.
