This might be a little bit offtopic. A sled with a 1200 cc 2 stroke turbo engine.

3.90 and 136 mph at 500 ft.

Check this out too http://www.boondocker.ca/turbo/turbo.htmlAt the bottom of the page "We are currently working on a turbocharger kit for the RM-Z 450." Wouldn't that be unrideable?

The guys who are really big into these are right in my back yard. D and D powersports.

They also just picked up yamaha as a dealership. (motocross bikes, wheelers, sleds, cycles ect)

My 720 has a boondocker kit in it. Its awsome how crisp it is!

They build some really cool things that go fast besides just sleds to.......

How does the turbo work on a 2-stroke when both the exhaust and intake ports are open at the same time? Also doesn't the exhaust back-pressure of the turbo itself throw off the effect the expansion chamber creates? So many questions.... Also, how do you keep your arms in their sockets when you hit the gas?

Turbos work very well on the 2 strokes, even though the clyinder ports are "open" at the same time the reeds are in effect "closing the intake so they are never both really open at the same time. The 2 stroke also revs alot quicker so you dont get the turbo lag that you would get in a 4 stroke. We have run them on snowmbiles and they work great.

Are these used on regular carbureted 2-stroke engines? What is the routing on the intake side in relation to the carb (is the carb before or after the turbo)? So I guess the principle is to pressurize the crankcase higher than what the down-stroke of the piston would normally create? Does it blow a lot of extra raw fuel out the exhaust (i.e. what's it do to the economy)?

We have used them on both Carbs and Fuel injection. Here is the Boondocker link that has some good pics http://www.boondockers.com/turbo/turbo.html

And whomever rides it will need bullet proof gear to protect themselves from the shrapnel.
