I have had to make the decision to stop riding, so I am getting rid of all my gear. This is all that I was not able to give to a buddy of mine. I want to see if anyone would be interested in these two pairs of boots. They are Alpinestar Tech 3's and Gaerne SG10's, size 9 for both of them.. They are in great shape (pics are a bit dirty, but hey they are free)

I don't want to give them to someone who is going to sell them, but someone who will actually use them for themselves or kids or whoever...., I will also pay for shipping, but only to the US (sorry a bit expensive to do overseas)

I will keep this up for a week and see if there is any interest. If multiple people are interested I will just draw names from a hat so its fair. I hope I can help someone out, if not then I will just try and sell locally.

The one time I gave away free gear on here I sent it to a fellow forum member in Mexico, I only asked that he pay the shipping and he stiffed me, LOL.

I'd love to take those sg10s off your hands! Finally broke down and put in an eBay bid for some boots last night. Past weekend I tore another hole in my boots and ripped a strap off lol
I'll cover shipping btw. Can't expect you to pay to get rid of those.

Id be happy to take either one and I'll pay the shipping to Canada. My Tech 3s are 10 years old in need of replacement. If you send teh SG10s I'll give $100 and cover the shipping of the second set to someone.

I have a son who is either growing out of or just wearing out his boots,size 9 would be the perfect fit for him.
We also give away all of our old riding gear that is still usable. Good on you

Wow, very cool of you. I would love to try out those SG10s. Ive had a pair of Tech 10s for 8 years, and my brother swears by the SG10s.

I am in. I wear size 9 and would wear these for sure. I would also pay shipping or even make a donation to you or your favorite charity. Would prefer the Gaerne, but either would be peachy.

Hey.. if you haven;t promised them to anyone, I have a kid that I turned on to riding with the promise he stopped smoking pot..He's wearing a pair of my sons size 11.. he's a 8.5.. he's riding a 1993 RMX 250 and is doing pretty good.and staying drug free... you can check my facebook if you like.. I posted about him last year at this time and have picture of him in almost every ride we do.. this would be a big deal for him ... let me know.

Thanks for all the kind words. I just want to be able to pay it forward. The MX community is a small one and we need to make sure that we take care of one another. Next week, I will take all the names and put them in a hat and announce the winners, then get their mailing addresses and ship them out. For the future, if anyone is ever out here in Vegas for any races or what not and wants to get together and talk moto, then feel free to hit me up.

Nice work, I will add my name to your drawing for my son that wears a size 9 and would love to have a pair of sweet Gaerne SG10's! I would also be totally happy to pay for the shipping as it would be the least we could do for a fellow moto brother that would be willing to help other riders out.

My dad wears a 9. Busted his leg up good in an ancient pair of Fox boots. 2 surgeries and 8 months later he baxk to almost normal. The gaerne would give him the protection he needed.

Nope, silly me, I figured that when you help out a fellow moto brother and vitard giving them a few hundred bucks worth of free gear they would be good to their word about reimbursing you for the international shipping. Oh well, lesson learned. Next time I'll just throw the stuff in the trash instead.
