It seems like the racing was pretty fair, 300 2t's, 450 & 350 4t's.

But, do we need to have the rules changed to protect the other manufacturer's like in MX?

You know Endurocross already kicked the trials bikes out of the Pro class.....

They should only allow 450 MX bikes, you know, in case Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki take their toys and go home.

racing was better in supercross with two strokes....not an opinion but a fact. the tracks were more technical and the inside line was actually used.

Sarcasm Alert
I got that it was sarcasm.

Sometimes there's a fine line between sarcasm and ridiculous.

No dammit, all the Japanese OEM's were against the two strokes, not just the three you listed. But none of the Japanese OEM's make a Beta, so it's just best to ban it too.

Funny shit, the far superior four stroke keeps getting it's ass handed to it in so many situations but it's still far superior. Don't piss off Honda though!

They should definitely ban the 2-stroke and eliminate the unfair advantage they enjoy. Whistling

How about we throw a curve ball at them and ban four strokes.

There is precedent on a related matter. The Series becomes AMA sanctioned and trials bikes and tires get banned in 2008. All these years later we are seeing the Beta Xtrainer and KTM Freeride trials enduro hybrid bikes coming along. What if they had left it alone and see what it would have morphed into? The top riders are coming from trials and Extreme Enduro is a growth niche in a dwindling market.

The main point is that in AMA Endurocross there is a different set of rules and still parity exists.

Here's GNCC:
D. MACHINE ELIGIBILITY AND CLASSIFICATION:

1. XC1 Pro (Bikes): (122cc-Open 2/4 Stroke).

It sure was cool seeing Kailub Russell win on a 150 2t.

And Cats aren't sleeping with dogs. Maybe AMA SX and MX could give fans something back.

How about a two-stroke section so people can argue about the good old days, and others can talk about racing.

Old school Moto does not seem to fill that gap I guess.

I am talking about racing.

I think we could agree that AMA SX is the premiere form of dirt bike racing in the world. Is it growing?

I just have a problem with the way the handicapping is done.

What do I care if a guy can win on a 2 cylinder diesel. Electric bikes are coming too. Run what ya brung.

It appears that the tide has been turning for quite some time Dannyboy. Modern times here, and the 2 stroke still exists much to your (and 500...I mean uh 450 Guy's ) dismay.Smile

Meh, I don't know. RV flicking a booger on it (and outdoors MX) makes you wonder.

If it wasn't a place for people to discuss issues and differences forums might have less unique visitors.

I like dogs better.

That cat should be banned because it's not really a cat and has an unfair advantage!

Maybe Webb is just the best rider and it has nothing to do with 2t vs 4t!
