The 2-Stroke World Championship will be held this year at Glen Helen on April 3rd, and will be sponsored by FMF and MTA. Make plans.

If anyone knows of any other 2-stroke races, let me know. Also, if you think you would like to organize a 2-stroke race, let me know to see if we can organize some support (if you haven't already or need support).

John Perry is the one who has set it all up. He's an awesome organizer and promoter. What kind of bike did you race?

Hey Burn I'd be interested.

I've got acces to about 300 pristine acres here in WVA.
We've run a few small local event's, Ahrma ran an Enduro round here last year. We're also involved with putting on MountainfestWVA, which
pulls about 70,000 each year.

The owner want's to build something.
I have a thing for the 2's.

Tried PMing you but "page not available came up".
Email me directly ..... motogrady@yahoo.com I'd like to talk to you.

Thanks guy.grado

We planned on having one here in Ohio - September, but the promoter has yet to give the

green -light so, as of now, it's not happening.

Our goal was to have a minimum $ ten grand purse, too - to lure the fast and famous,

I'd love to see a round at Sunset Ridge in Illinois.

Why are you guys having two stroke only races? We all know you can beat the fourstrokes.

Holding 2s only events just solidifies the idea that they are only for the fringe.

We're not having them yet. Something has to start somewhere.

Only Americans would call a 1 race event held in their own country out in the desert a world championship.

Really around here there isn't enough interest for this kind of thing. Locally some promoters have tried to have a "2-stroke class" and it pulled all of 5 riders. You're better off racing a vintage series.

JP was the soul person to put all the effort in bringing the 2 Stroke National back. He live away from Socal and still did everything from there to make it work. Look at the effort he made to move to the East to work for MX Sports to try and make the Nationals better. He left and closed down his own business to make the switch. I know someone out there needs a guy with his commitment to be a part of their business and make this sport better. JP is a good guy I just like stiring the pot and he knows it. Love ya JP. John not Jim.

have you ever personally been to these world championship races at Glen Helen? when they say world they mean it because people fly in from all over. the turn out is unreal for these events at Glen Helen..... i personally cant wait, im trying to get my hands on a blown up YZ125, so i can fully rebuild it into a 167 or bigger. if not ill just throw a leg over the CR250R
