After a freshly groomed track, Joey Crown has that Team Green Monster Energy Kawasaki Supermini completely pinned around Baja Acres Motocross in Millington, MI. This video was filmed last year, Joey is now on big bikes.

That would be a 112cc

Cool Vid, good luck to Joey this week.

Boy has Baja changed a lot since the early/mid 90's. Gone are the 6' sand whoops, 4' deep ruts and braking bumps from hell.

That was a freshly groomed track. After 1 day of practice with no grooming it still looks exactly as you describe.

Baja turns into the devils playground of ruffness Fter about 2-3 maybe 4 practices. Track is very ruff by the end of the day often to the point most of the people go home because they have nothing left in the tank. If you however get the chance to ride Baja freshly prepped get ready to grin ear to ear because you can hang it out beyond belief in that smooth sand.

Freshly prepped looks and sounds fun. I never got a chance to do that riding in the afternoon program.

I was just slow enough, to hit every single bump every lap, nor smart enough to move my line to a smoother line. Like pounding my head against a brick wall.
