Great Job, I dig it. He'll get more exposure than any of the guys out of the top 10 on thumpers...

Here's a dumb question for anyone who knows about the AMA tech procedure - would Stankdog even get caught with a 144 kit in that thing? The AMA doesn't have a reason to tear him down without any decent results correct? Being it's still at a large disadvantage, seems like he would be better off running some extra HP to get him closer to the front if he could pull it off.

If he runs any faster than he is now, they will rip that bike open in a heartbeat. They did it to ricky renner in sx when he was putting up lap times he shouldnt have been putting up.

He never actually got caught though. It wasn't his lap times. It was the fact he told everyone he had a 144. The very next race he was on a 125 again.

Awesome video, listened for him lap after lap each time trying
not to cry thinking what the AMA has done to the sport.

That sucks, I wouldn't think they would look at him until he's down near 15th or so...

He's taking a knife to a gun fight, leave the guy alone.

Qualifying is where I think the tech inspection would get him. From listening to him talk and stuff he probably wouldn't cheat even if he could. He's the real deal as far just deep roots moto goes in my olio in. I want that race bike in my garage when he's done with it!

What's the process? How do they catch him without tearing down? Maybe he can sandbag in qualifying...LOL

Any qualifier could protest the bike. I honestly would like to see him take one of those husky 250f's out to a few races just to see how many places he's losing on the 125 just to see a real comparison. We all know he's at a disadvantage and that's what's so awesome about him going at it. I just want to see a true comparison same rider same bike brand, but on a 125 and a 250f would give us true perspective as to what he's going through.

I asked his mechanic after practice if they made it in, his response:

"Yep, there's a lot of pissed off dads out there who spent way to much on a 250f!"Laughing

Gotta love it! Seeing him ride the piss out of that thing was just awesome, that thing pulled a lot harder than I expected though, he was holding is own pretty damn well!

We raced in Louisiana this past weekend, aside from c class baggers per the norm.... The 250c class was won by a kid on a tc125. Holeshot both motos, ran away from the others. And there werent many slouches in it. Top 7 in c class turned faster lap times than b class... That husky was singin..

You won't regret it I can promise you that.

I hope he has better luck this weekend. I know he's not gonna be a title contender, but I wanna see him score some points.

I'm cheering for him too, but I think these next two nationals are going to be tough ones for him. Glen Helen with the soft soil and power-robbing hills, and Lakewood with the altitude. Regardless of his results, if he can just put it in the show you know he'll be having fun and making new fans! Which is obviously a big part of what his effort is about.

btw love that quote from his mechanic about pissed off 250F dads

Very cool. Maybe it's against the rules of the broadcasters but I really wish they included some race footage in there.
