2.15 on a 125?

Has anyone had any experience with running the wider rear wheel on the a 125?

You will lose a slight bit of power and handling. It's not too bad though.

If you are running a lot of off road I would recommend it. I ran one for years racing harescrambles....never liked the feel of an 18" wheel.

You mean the Rim only correct not with a wider tire?

If so you might not even notice.
I have a 2.15 RIM on my YZ125 with a 100/90-19 tire cant tell the difference to a 1.85 RIM.

Yeah just the rim a nice second-hand set available just wondered if it would cause issues

The 1.85 rim & it's applicable tire profiles are intended to allow you a smaller contact-patch (where the tire actually touches the ground) that's tuned to power and handling of a 125.

You can usually find corresponding rim/tire sizing charts on the tire company web-sites.

The XC KTM and Husky 125's come with a 2.15
