Jerrys dad here,
first would like to thank everyone for their support. we are leaving soon for s.c. and if anyone has collected donations for jerry could u forward them so it can be used for the trip, that would be great. dbdnj@q.com
if jerry has not gotten back to anyone, don't worry he is working hard and keeping busy and consentrating on the busness at hand.

Jerry would like to thank everyone and He says we will see you at the races.

No kidding eh?

I've done some work to my bikes before but have never really gone nuts, usually just suspension and tall people's stuff, or some rideability porting, but watching that, you can't help but feel like it's just about being comfortable and having fun!

Fuckin awesome story!

I'd like to see more pics of the bike with all the new stuff on it. Those Hondas looked sweet during those years.

Hey, any updates on this kid? Latest race results from S.C.? Donations still coming in? Another thing I was wondering, how is he training? Is he getting in some long moto's, running, staying well hydrated and acclimated to the heat and humidity? Is he wearing out that bike or does he have a practice bike he can pound laps on? Another thing I'd have on my list is the rebuild before the big event, what's the plan there? New piston, rod and crank assembly, main bearings, clutch plates, along with freshly rebuilt suspension? You don't want that bike having any mechanical failures when you get to the big show!

When is the last time a 1985 CR250 flew like that? I bet it has been a while!

This whole aproach is cool...the racing and riding a vintage bike. unintentional marketing genius

Plus it is a big STFU to all the dumbasses who think you are dead in the water if your bike is not fuel injected or aluminum framed or whatever, fill in the blank.

here on vital,I suggested (in a different thread long ago) that a 2003 CRF450R was barely inferior to a new one , when you boil it down, and that lap times would be very similar on the two for most riders...I was about shouted down by the numbnuts brigade who assured me that the 03 couldnt win a c-class race . puleeease. pull your heads out, people. rant over

GREAT pic, I did not know Seth Enslow was also riding one of these ! I am actually starting to wonder if any 85 has ever flown like that ... Pics or it never happened Smile
