We (PolkaDots MC) found this in our safe deposit box last week. One of the members took and had it converted to DVD from 8mm. We hosted a 125 national back in 75'/76'. Some pretty cool old vintage footage, probably never seen before. Theres some big names in there if you recognize them. If anyone can ID some of the guys please list them here with their numbers so i can help our club ID some of the riders in the footage. Obviously #1 is Marty but some of the 2 and 3 digits are tougher (before my time).

At the 4:15 mark in the video I think I see an original GoPro camera. Some girl is carrying it around. Vintage.
Gotta love those tall and wide bars!

Damn...I feel prehistoric.
Great stuff. A reminder of how the lack of long-travel suspension really gave the body a pounding.

the YZ monoshock was so radical. My best racing bud got a 75 YZ250 and I got a new 76 YZ125 the next season. smooth.

My Dad took pictures at that race Dan. Hannah, Smith, and Magoo are some of the riders in the pics.

The first mx race I ever saw was there. I don't think it was a national but I do remember two CAN-AM factory trucks showing up and their riders (Ellis & ?) gaping the field into the first turn. The track in the video looks just as I remember it. Great stuff!

yep. very cool stuff.
also recognize Mark Stapleton. he was from my hometown. later on after this race he and a few buddies went to florida for the winter series. I believe he died there sleeping in his van from asphyxiation (heater in the van) or something like that. Was a fast kid and up and comer. Can remember the story when i was a kid 6-7yr old and then later when i started racing they had a memorial races for him.
