Simon, do you run those TE bars with the stock clamps? I have the SFS clamps, PHDS and FLEX bars (off the old Yamaha). I want to try multiple set ups to find the best one for my situation so I was curious about your clamps.
Yeah I've only ever used stock clamps. IMO changing out clamps is pretty much a waste of time for 99% of people. You can go faster by hitting a turn track.

Cheers
Simon

Thanks for the input Simon. I installed the PHDS with Renthal RC bend bars and I liked those, next I will try those bars with the SFS clamps. I usually don't mess with clamps either but I figured I would give the air ones a try. If I'm not happy with either of those set ups I will go the TE route.
My next dilemma is the CV forks, lately I've been hearing (and reading) that for the average weekend warrior they are a bit stiff or rigid. I am a mid pack vet intermediate rider in the Midwest, intermediate here may not be the intermediate in say, California, if you know what I mean! I really want the CV's but for that kind of money my wife wouldn't be happy if I didn't love them, lol!

I finally got a chance to ride with the CV's this past weekend and I have to say the best forks I've ridden with! Billy did a great job of setting them up for my needs. Very plush with great bottoming resistance! Next will be the shock, I think I will have the shock done by Billy but I would really like the Trax! Maybe my wife will get it for me this xmas. Not that I need it but would be nice to have the set to switch to a new bike in the future. I also received the test of the FMF exhaust but haven't installed it yet since I haven't sent the ECU Zout for the remap. Any suggestions on who to have do it? KTM, Tokyo Mods, etc......
