17-18 CRF450R Engine, blown or running?

Looking for anyone or any team that might have complete spare engine for a 2017 or 2018 CRF450R, running or not.
I know there were some who suffered from a cracked case. Its a long story but I need to hunt down an engine.
I doubt there are any 18s out there yet but a 17 motor will work just fine, even if it is blown or a case half is cracked or broken.

Finding a complete motor for that would be tough. Not many people yard a 450 motor out of a 450 chassis and plug something else in.

I know you used to be able to but complete crate motors from Honda. Have you talked to anyone at the shop you use to see if that's an option?

you should be able to buy the cases..we were gonna fully piece an engine together out of oem parts for a quad hybrid build but customer decided to just buy a whole bike then sell the roller. a whole motor pieced together was around 3500. but could be cheaper if you already have most of the stuff.

Service Honda used to sell pulled 4T engines from their AF projects, but it looks like they're done? https://www.servicehonda.com/page/af-motorcycle

Maybe try another 500AF conversion shop; I'm sure someone somewhere already stuffed a 500 into the new 17'/18' chassis...

RM has the case half for $300.

I did not blow a motor up - I just need a motor and was looking to see if anyone had one that was blown up or not to buy for a project. Maybe a race team had a spare motor, MCR had one but I missed it by a week and it was gone. Or someone blew theirs up and parted out the chassis already. Just fishing!!!!!
