Has anyone ran Pro Circuits T6 system? I see zero reviews and am wondering. Need some bling factor and can get a great deal on one. Thanks

Thanks, what is the difference between the pro version and regular? I thought it was sound? The pro version follows the ama/fim sound rules?

We make a very good system for the 2014 YZ250F. Politics keeps us out of MXA. I offer a Vital member discount and a guarantee that you will like it. email me don@rocketexhaust.com if you want more information.

Is Yoshimura the only company that posts dyno charts of thier pipes?

I find it amazing people cough up $1200 for a performance part that has no quantifiable information regarding it's performance gains.

I agree 100%. Magazines used to do actual testing with bikes. Exhaust was always one of them. Today it seems more pages of advertising and bull shit about who is smarter between the blonde with super fake tits, or the 7th grade educated racer. I do like me some tits though!

That's a bummer - seriously. Would love to see how your exhausts stacks up against the competition.

As far as the MXA shootout, not one of these exhausts are a bad choice.

Yes, the Pro edition for the PC exhaust doesnt include a spark arrestor - AMA Competion Approved. (Let me confirm when I get home)

Comparable PC T-6 system retails for $809.85. My Race system with a Carbon end cap, an option PC does not offer, retails for $577.45. With the weekend 30% discount $404.15. There is more value with our pipes. Besides the carbon end cap, it is much easier to service, you can custom order length of muffler, core diameter and or multi chambered core if you were racing AMA SX. We're going to be making a lot more noise, pun intended, with our marketing.

In the pipe shootout an after market pipe looks like a waste of money as none of them seem much better than stock on the dyno

Your stuff is top notch.
The motor design is a awesome. Our stage 3 mod with piston, cams, throttle body mod, valve springs and our exhaust is making 47.5 on our dyno. Stock is 40.8. As another reference most 250 mods you can buy are in the 44-45 range. The cylinder head design is really good.

Just the looks of your pipes are at least 2HP by far the best looking pipes period.

Dyno is only one part of the equation. It isn't about how much power but more what type of power you're looking for and is why some pipes are better for novices and Vets while others are more expert pro oriented.

Never underestimate what a slip on or full system can do for your riding especially if you race.

That's right Rock. There are 9 different throttle positions and most riders spend very little time at 100% open. 3-5% of the time from data I have seen. The dyno is one tool.

I agree but looking at the #s mxa had all the pipes made less than 1hp gain though out the whole range is the point I was making

Thanks for the clarification MX558. Another factor is the tests were done on stock motors. Some manufacturers work best on stock motors while others can make more of a difference on a modded motor.

It is still one of the sports best kept secrets that a muffler repack is the cheapest horsepower. Key point is in this instance you're actually restoring performance not adding but more power is always good. . MXA proved this on a 2007 KX250F when they repacked the stock can after dyno time on the spent muffler. 1.9 horsepower gain between 7 and 8K and a full foot pound of torque across the powerband all from a repack.
