Anyone have info about the little dude. Little guy was landed on by a big bike, they attempted CPR until medics arrived but he didn't make it. Rip little guy. Prayers to the family.Sad

Oh wow... I was pulling out of the track when I saw him go down but didn't see him get landed on! This is why I NEVER jump anything around the little ones. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family

I still can never understand why 85s are allowed on the track with big bikes. Shouldn't happen imho.

From what I was told is they never split practice. Your right though crush it's insane to have the little guys on at the same time.

It's open practice on saturday - sunday. I only saw one 85 today so I'm thinking it was one of the 50 riders.

Honestly I have no idea, this track has a few booters with blind landings so it should have been split.

There is NO EXCUSE at all to have the little guys out there with Big bikes running as well. The ownership need to be held responsible for their IRRESPONSIBLE policy. Guarantee you it was all about money, they save more combining them...

Most of the tracks run open practice down here. I don't see why the little guys can't have some time on the main track.

Nobody is saying they cant, it should be split, little guys run with little guys. Every track I grew up on did this, and every track around me does this as well, even the Supermoto tracks.

Too much risk, and it comes from a big bike hitting a little body.

My bad.... not the time for me to be a critic. Manifesting the young boy peace and light on greatest transformation - riding moto is one way I would want to go. His time was cut too short.

I am extremely empathetic for all parties involved: the parents, friends, family members, the rider who landed on him, and that moto community.

Heartbreaking. Condolences to the Family.
This is one of my greatest fears with my children (12 and 9) when they hit the track on any practice day...I'll try and follow them if there are big bikes around, but...
99.99% of the time nothing happens, but sometimes things just go wrong at a bad time...
I can't imagine the pain they are going through right now...

Sad deal for everyone, it turned out to be one of my friends from high school's little brother,RIP Tanner. also the track doesnt have split practice and It REALLY needs to. its a very diverse track with people like tommy hahn to beginners on ttr's and a good amount of blind spots. Also on who landed on him i was told he had no where to go and couldnt do anything to avoid the crash. I wish it was mandatory to split practice, oak hill is one of the few around here that do this.

Also on the very sad front....

a 13 year old passed away a week ago Sunday at the riding area in St Joe State Park in Missouri.... St Joe is a big open riding area (not a track) owned by the state and the news reports say he hit a quad and passed away... worse still, it sounds like the person on the quad he hit was his father... for all the guys in the STL area it sounds like his funeral and visitation is this week...

about little guys on tracks.... so I went to a new track for a practice day this weekend... at this spot they have two tracks, a "big" one, and one for the kids... for whatever reason there were no kids on the little track, they were all the big track, so needless to say it was impossible for me to get in even a couple of corners before I had to slow down... and I wouldn't jump anything for fear of landing on one of them... I just packed it up and went home (and never going back)... and this was a track that says they are all about safety.... "facepalm".......
