Over the past few months, and especially this month, I've seen a definite rise in the number of new 125cc 2strokes on local tracks. As an example, this Sunday I was surprised to see a few regular 450 riders I know, arrive at the track with new 125 2strokes on the back of their trucks. They looked to be having a blast on the track, you could physically see the enthusiasm in their riding.
It was good to see, and hope the rise of the 125 continues. It was just a few weeks ago I rode a friends 125. It had been a while, boy I'd forgot how fun they are!

Broke this beauty in on Sunday, an absolute riot on wheels. Going slow is fun. Didn't think I would ever admit that.

Even though I usually hate used bikes, I might pick up a basket case at some point and bring it back to life.

Later a dad of 2 young guys riding 250Fs stopped me as I was loading up. I heard "So you don't like fourstrokes?". I was like what? He was cool though, he was very complementary on my riding and just kept saying I would be even faster on a fourstroke. Told him my plan was to get a 250 smoker next year, he wasn't impressed lol. I guess everyone has their own agenda haha.
Anyways its always cool with the two stroke guys at the track as well. I have a lot of conversations with young and old riders talking about smokers and how much they love em. Definitely a good twostroke scene down here in North TX.
I have an 05 and I really hate the forks.

I sold my 2003 rm125 to buy my 2011 yz250. Really wish I would have kept that bike. Someday I'll have another 125

Always liked the '83 YZ 125, last I raced the class with any intent. Great fun but not much competitive success.
Tim Ferrys old Noleen racer. Just finished it. Love this bike.
