Cheers on an amazing career. He pretty much put hard enduro on the map early on before transitioning to mainly Endurocross and Super Enduro.

Great talent, great personality. I remember some of his early wins at Hell's Gate. Epic. He will be missed.

That guy had a ton of talent on a bike. I remember watching him at all those hard enduros and he made it all look so easy.

Wow, I didn't expect him to retire this year. But I agree, the guy is a legend, especially considering how he came out of nowhere to win erzberg.

I wish him well.

Watching him ride EX this year it's not a surprise at all. I'm not sure if it's injuries or what, but he never seemed into it or like he wanted to be here. Definitely not the same racing intensity he had in years past.

Taddy, is it really the end?
Yes. The end of my professional Hard Enduro career.

I bet his racing days aren't over, I would guess Dakar type stuff. He's only 33.

I think you can tell Taddy always had a lot of fun racing. Even with the pressure and the difficulties over the years he was always joking around. He's just a cool dude.

Yeah Grimbo is in his 40s as is Letti. Heck, Letti's son, Manual Lettenbichler, is now racing right beside his Dad in most of the Hard Enduro events. How cool is that?

I hope Taddy transitions back into select Hard Enduro races. That's where it all started for him coming out of Trials into Erzberg. He won Erzberg on a borrowed bike. Crazy.

111!!

I highly encourage you guys to pick up the Hell's Gate and Return to Hell's Gate DVDs from Throttle. They really show how fun, yet talented Taddy is. Great stuff. Epic race as well.

Taddy blew my mind with what he did on a motorcycle at Last Man Standing.

I wouldn't think KTM would do this type of announcement if he was shifting over to Rally racing. Unless of course he's doing it for a different brand.

Taddy helped coordinate the megawatt 111. So I think that he may get into promoting hard enduro events which is easier on the body.

Watched him at his first US Endurocross event and all along the five championships here. Whats he have 29 even wins? Believe he had pretty good crash two years ago that set him back. Then this year surgery on his hand a few times. Has to be hard to compete at the top level if you aren't 100%. Probably the most exciting rider I have ever seen ride in person.
