I am just curious on how many people here when ordering new gear also order the matching gloves.

I haven't found good fitting comfortable gloves that came with gear in years. So now when I order gear I don't get the gloves. I just end up getting bent over on those deft gloves, which fit great and are comfortable.

Just curious if anyone here has found quality gloves from the major brands.

I always get Thor. I've had great luck with them and can't get myself to venture out. I'll order sone gear (yellow Fox) then add a black Thor glove set to the cart to make a set

Love the TLD air gloves and the GP gear, have 2 sets.

Might try left over SE pro gear but will probably stay with the air gloves!... They work great for moto and DH MTB!

You guys should give these a try; www.morphracing.com especially if you tend to get blisters... They don't bunch up at all in the palm as they're built differently.

Never had matching anything..Got my gear from the Army first... then Blue jeans and a sweat shirt did the job. Got picked up by Krause Racing and they gave me Gear and that shit still didn't feel comfortable. Best par of boots were High points....Gloves?..LOL You guys could learn alot from reading the Eddie Warren Story Here

Point is, everything looks good out front.

I've had a pair of Alpinestars gloves for about a year now and really like them. They don't make them anymore so I have been hand washing them in the sink so maybe they will last just a little longer. My next pair will be Thor Void. I dislike gloves with bulky padding on the palm.

used to run fox gloves when it still had build quality but all recent pair have failed very early on, they dont sew the velcro to the tab anymore so dont hold up to washing very well (at all Smile ) have used thor for a few years too no problems there and have just got a couple of pairs of one industries very impressed with those so far too

Give Novik Gloves a try. All three of the glove lines fit great! www.novikgloves.com
Check this out.... Novik guys are awesome!

I am not sure how wide spread the story of Tripp Halstead is but, here in Atlanta, Tripp was at daycare when he was 3 years old and playing outside when a tree limb broke from a tree and feel on his head crushing his skull. He has been severely impaired ever since.

Well, his dad, who is a rider, was contacted by the guys at Novik and asked if they could donate to Tripp by creating a line of gloved to show support from him. His dad started a "Team Boom" website and Novik makes the Team Boom glove which proceeds go to Tripp's life long health care needs. Look at that link you provided, you will see the Team Boom link.

http://www.teamboom4tripp.com/#!support-tripp/ctkw

Best part about these gloves are not only are they comfortable but, when you buy a pair, it helps Tripp.

My son has not worn anything other then Team Boom gloves for about a year and he does not want me to order gloves when he gets gear.

Tripp's dad donated several pairs of gloves to an injured rider locally a few months ago, to be auction off with the proceeds going to that rider. Several people purchased the gloves and because they knew I brought the gloves to the auction, have contacted me about purchasing more of these gloves because they are so comfortable.

So next time you think you want a pair of gloves, give these some thought. You will treat your hands to a nice fitting set and help a great family at the same time!

Here is the Halstead's story: http://www.teamboom4tripp.com/#!our-story/c7h5

I always get the matching gloves. I never have noticed a problem with different gloves or grips. My son, on the other hand, has to have Fox Airline gloves.

OAKLEY factory pilots are pretty comfy and have actually held up through some decent crashes. Probably one of the cheapest items that Oakley sells.

I'm the same way, which is why I just get a few sets of black and white Fox Airline gloves that will match any set of gear.

I don't give a fuck, matching gloves won't make me ride better. I just buy a pants and jersey, if one of them wears out i buy another. I don't care if they match or not.

Novik gloves sound like they are similar to deft gloves. Not bulky and fit well. I am going to have to try a pair. Thanks

You might of misunderstood. I am not talking about the gloves matching the color of the gear. I was just seeing if people buy the gloves with gear and actually like the gloves. For me, I have found a lot of those gloves are junk. Which is why I get gloves from glove companies only.

My gloves don't match my gear btw

Matching gloves...lol. I'm so fucking frugal and could give 2 shits what I look like, so I just keep wearing my 10 year old pants and jersey until they come back in style.

I've bought many different kinds for my 8yr old. Tried Thor, Fox, and others. He will only wear TLD air, he loves them and will sort through all the others to find them.

There is nothing better than Novik. Bryan and Erik are both awesome guys who do anything they can to help out in the moto community. I wouldn't wear anything else!

Same. Fox gloves are junk now (though they do fit nice)
