have any of you used wiseco pro lite pistons? im doing my top end within the month and have heard good & bad things bout there pistons.. i may go with a pc or mdk high comp piston instead.. wana put some hinson components in the clutch as well, probly just the basket- worth it? also the cylinder is honeable right? opposed to being nickel plated or something inconveniant like that
thanks
thanks
we all learn at some point..

Maybe we should work on trying to be civil with each other and as we cool off and get used to it, then in time we can take humorous shots at each other.
One step at a time
so what sounds good, oem, wiseco, or high comp. piston from PC or MDK? id certainly use a liittle extra zip up top and yea im a "noob" ive never rebuilt a modern thumper, i have however checked valves and done minor carb mods so i am VERY willing to learn.
opinions please?
thanks
Seriously, I can't answer your question but welcome anyway!

I used the Wiseco high comp piston with good success in my 06 450. Hope that helps.
The hot mod for your bike is Tokyo Mods and the Carb Mod. Hummingbirds on Crack those 250s are. Get the suspension dialed and run the engine like its a rental.
Not that we were talking about motor mods or anything.
Tiki-GOAL- reliable/lasting slighlty more powerful mid/topend. i checked out cp pistons but couldnt find prices? maybe i didnt look hard enough. apparently i need to replace my valve stem seals, i have smokey start up when cold then goes away. i thought it was just rings- doesnt seem to use oil witch is strange cuz of smokey start up and it being a crf. also looked at williamsmotowerx dimple valves and valve springs, but thats only if mine are cupping. i dont want to spend a lot (over 1k) for new piston kit n such, i know what im looking at costs and im willing to pay if i have to. so all the spendy suggestions would be nice yes but no thanks its an 05 not an 07/08
