11/26/2008 3:00 PM Don't get me wrong-it's great we get too see content. However, I hate the 10 hour to 2 day downloads. There has got to be a better way to view content. What happened to streaming video like Stage6divx? I am not complaining by any means. I am thrilled that I have access to the MxoN. I am downloading it as we speak but the wait times are just unreal. Is there a better way? I know when I uploaded hour long videos when stage6divx.com was available you could press play and your up and watching asap.

10/8/2008 10:49 PM The key to fast downloads is to get them when they are relatively new and there are a lot of seeds. During the racing season, I do a daily search of mininova to see if anything has been put up. Usually the fastest DL times happen after about 24 hours of the original upload. After a week or so the seeds drop off and things get slow. Utorrent helps as well.

10/11/2008 1:28 PM I tried to download the mxdn but by day 2 it was only 10% downloaded and it was slowing down my browsing so I just said fuck it. That's why I like the idea of the streaming video. I just don't get all the hoopla with torrents. They take soooo long to download.

10/12/2008 9:17 PM I downloaded the MXoN in about one hour. You have one, or more, of the following problems.
You have terrible DL speed via your ISP, you aren't using utorrent, or you were late to the torrent party. |

10/15/2008 1:46 PM The reason you don't see many sites like Stage6 is because they are not legal. Just like torrents. It is easier for a site like Stage6 to get shut down because they are actively hosting the file, whereas a torrent is being hosted and seeded by many individuals.

10/16/2008 3:23 PM Don't be lousy and join Mediazone.
You can watch the racing live, then watch it as much as you like for the following 12 months. |

1/27/2009 12:45 PM I haven't used torrents in the past, but I need to get this figured out for my brother who is now in Japan for the next 6 months...
So, I installed utorrent...I followed 3 different links and the main screen has three files downloading, but also "inactive", which I assume means I'm not getting any data right now. The Houston 450 SX shows 505 seeds and 279 peers, but no activity. What am I doing wrong? Or should I just be patient? Vitaldrive "yahoo" |

It isn't that torrents aren't legal, many perfectly legal files get moved around via torrents... it's some of the content thats the problem...
