Finally, I'm putting together some boxes of magazines and books and other things to send Wade for him and his guys in Iraq.
A newspaper reporter was here this morning and shot some photos of the care packages I have on my table next to my desk and is writing a story about it which is pretty cool. It wouldn't have gotten any attention, but Tuesday, my boss hears about my little project going on collecting magazines and books to send and she asks what she can do to help. I told her they could probably use some toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, and baby wipes. She came back to me an hour later and now my office is filled with well over a thousand bucks worth of stuff to send out. I was blown away. She didn't even question it, she just did it and told me to make sure we get this stuff out ASAP.
So Wade, if you read this, be looking for some boxes headed your way real soon. Hopefully, more business people in not only my town, but allover will see what my boss did and help out as well. Politics aside, you guys deserve way more for what you're going through and doing in Iraq.

This is a great thing you're doing Spinner. I think very highly of your boss as well. I can't imagine how awful it has to be over there for all of our troops. I just hope they can come home soon - and safe.
Best of luck to all of you guys Wade!!!

Wow... you guys never fail to amaze me. Thank you, Chuck. Thank you everybody. I would love to have a coppy of that newspaper...
I have taken a lot of pictures, shot a little digital video, while I am here. They are not all "pleasant", but certainly give a soldiers-eye view of the war. If anybody is interested, get me an address and I will mail...

Dave - really appreciated the t-shirts - thanks, again! If you've got stickers, send them and I will tag Iraq with them and send you some pics.

Chuck - a public thank you! I will take pics and email them to you.
To all who have asked to be emailed pics, due to the size of the files, I can only email a few (our bandwidth is somewhat limited and my storage on AKO is pretty small...). If you have a mailing address, I will burn them to CD's for anybody that wants them and send.

Wade if you want you can mail me a disc and I can host the photos on my server for you so you dont' have to send out a bunch of discs.
e mailto:jennyleonard@verizon.net e Does that thing have any tread left on it? Or is that like throwing a hotdog down a hallway.

Chuck - packages received - Hooah! and thank you from all of us.
I will get pictures out to you as soon as I can. What we cannot use (because there is so much) we are going to donate to Iraqi children through our civil military operations cell (hopefully, we will have pictures of that for you, too).
