I've never played any of the Halo games, so i'm going to play through Halo MCC first then Halo 5. I probably won't understand anything if i just jumped into Halo 5 first.

I bought the MCC and it's unplayable, full of bugs so I guess I'm just not going to know what's going on.

Surely after a year and a bunch of updates the game should be playable? I just wanted to play the story mode, but I've heard there was a bug that deleted story mode progress, that was around the time when the game had just released though, now it should be fixed? I'd hate to be halfway finished with the game then my story mode progress gets erased...... Dry that's my biggest fear with MCC, hopefully they've fixed it.Unsure

I played like 3 months ago and that exact thing happened to me so I said fuck it.

How so? The first year had lots of unfixed bugs but they have been addressed and the game runs without issues now.

Really enjoyed the first one and quite enjoyed the next 2 but I eventually lost touch with the series after that - most of my gaming time went to the PC. Being an exclusive it's very difficult to get a console for everything and so not miss something.
