Best racing game on the market. I'm playing 2014 right now, and before that, 2012. Not much difference between the two that I can tell, except 2014 seems to be a bit more user-friendly (in terms of car handling). I hope there are more updates for 2015 version. Its going to be a great summer for racing games with the new MotoGP coming out next month, and then F1 2015 in July.

I found that the 2013 version onwards is very controller-friendly so you can pick it up and have a quick game. Hopefully this will be the same!

i built my own steering wheel station for 2012 and played it non-stop for like 6 months. can't play these on a controller, just not the same.

i really need to upgrade to a PS4, maybe this will give me reason

Do it peel! Kill two birds with one stone and get yourself a PS4+F1 bundle Cool

I still need to test my PS3 Logitech wheel with the PS4 to make sure it's compatible.

Peel add me and we'll have a game - Spydee112

I haven't tried online yet, just been chugging through the championship mode. Disappointed that career mode isn't on the game, so you can't make a custom character and race a career mode like previous games, but it's still just as fun to play overall.

really? that's lame... i liked getting picked up by a lower end team and putting in good results to get onto better teams in future seasons. i'd much rather that than play as say Hamilton or Vettel...

i'm currently without the internet at home, but that's going to change pretty soon now that i have the current gaming setup.

i've been playing the shit out of Witcher 3, when i'm done with it i'll be getting the internet at which point i'll pick up F1 and add you

I know same! Playing as current drivers just reminds me of Quick Race mode! Apparently they're bringing back Career mode for F1 2016 - I reckon they couldn't iron out the bugs in this version and decided to release the game without it rather than delaying it further.

Ah man I'm hearing a lot of good things about Witcher 3 - my bro is playing it at the mo and he's addicted! He did say he hated it at first mind and that it took a while to get into. Not sure if I should invest in a copy or wait for him to finish his so I can borrow it.

Tobz, I'll add you when I get home from work later.

Witcher3 is really really hard until you get to about level 5 or so... then it starts to take off. you're just so underpowered and underskilled to take on many of the enemies in the world.

i highly recommend it. calling it addicting is an understatement. i'm Level 15 and i can't put it down.

I have been playing F1 2015 nonstop since it came out. I do miss career mode but the physics are a step above F1 2014 which played like the past few F1 games. Project Cars is also a great game.

as i expected the reviews are taking a serious hit due to lack of game modes. i still can't understand the thought process behind dropping the career mode... i put in probably 4-5 full realistic setting seasons on F1-2012. probably the most rewarding and frustrating time i've ever spent on a videogame, but it was awesome.

i might skip 2015 just due to the reviews i've been reading. i've been thinking about looking into Project Cars though

It's still worth a bash peelout. I'm not playing it as much as I did at first because to me it's nothing I haven't seen before (although the Mexican track looks sweet, definitely looking forward to seeing them race on that in reality). I've caught up to the Hungary round on my career mode so I'll continue in real-time as each race comes around.

I personally didn't like Project Cars, and I was a huge Gran Tourismo fan growing up. I borrowed the game off a mate and handed it back after about half hours worth of play. I was relieved I didn't shell out for the game and as the PS store will show you, it's dropped heavily in price now which coincides with my initial thoughts about the game!

Dude, if you haven't played The Last of Us yet put that as a priority after Witcher, that game is hands down one of the best games I've ever played. I guarantee you'll love every minute of it!

I'll maybe buy F1 2015 a littler later when it's not that expensive anymore, but it isn't worth the 60$ in my opinion.
Currently playing Witcher 3 too (since about one and a half month) and it's just huge and awesome. I was never into this genre and also had my troubles getting into it now, but now I just completely love it. Best game I've played so far! How your choices actually make giant differences and influence the whole story is something I've never seen before. And then again it's huge- Far Cry 4 was about 18h, I think that is already the amount of time you need to come out of the first before going to Velen...

I also liked Project Cars a lot, the driving and options are incredible! There are too much invitational races and not enough races in the main series in my opinion though, that kind of takes away the feeling of having a real season. But if you like it realistic and 'boring', I would take a look at it too!

Life is strange and The Last Of Us are also really really good and not that expensive.

My PSN name is Shortymx by the way, would be sick if you could send me a friend request!

i haven't even looked at what kind of time i have into Witcher yet, probably close to 50 hours... last night i spent about 4 hours just going around playing Gwent trying to win the special cards and doing the Gwent quests and then just exploring the question marks on the main island in Skellige.

it's really impressive how much content, detail, amazing graphics and characters they've managed to stick into this game. some of the quests really drag you in and make you care, it's pretty amazing. i can definitely see this one getting a re-play when i'm done.

soon as i get the internet at home i'll shoot you an add

you will not be disappointed. i had to move my difficulty slider all the way easy until i hit about level 8 or so, i was just getting murdered. but once i learned the combat and crafting systems, i got a lot better and am now playing on hard. it's a perfect blend of difficulty and walking in and fuckin' shit up lol

i've also heard people say they had a tough time getting through the first few hours and i'd agree, the pacing was kind of strange for the first part of the game. once you open up the second open world area, the game and story and ability of play just takes off. highly recommended

i feel like a major fuckin' geek ahaha

Makes it more appealing knowing that to be honest, otherwise I would probably play a couple of hours, think it's shit, and place the disc back in the box to collect dust!

Sounds worth the money just as a game like GTA is. Countless hours of ganeplay and that feeling of killing things after a hard day at work.

I think I've just convinced myself to get it, haha.

What's the next big title to come out next? Anything soon?

looking forward to every one of those, maybe not Need For Speed, but the rest of the list for sure

Tomb Raider 4 should be badass

and i've heard a lot of good things about "Everybody's gone to the Rapture"

also i read that Witcher 3 is coming out with the last free DLC which adds NG+ (new game plus), so you'll be able to re-start using your current character levels, equipment, etc. this is one game that i'll be investing in all paid-DLC. they've had so much free content already

Isn't Tomb Raider 4 exclusive to xbox though? I remember that being rumoured last year.

I have a crush on the FIFA titles, and the 2016 game comes out next month so that'll definitely be on pre-order.

I'd really like my brother to quit playing The Witcher so I can just borrow it off him for a while. Ooo I just remembered he has GTA V too. You got Wifi yet peel?

no wifi yet, probably within the month. going on another Baja Mexico ride on Sept2 so won't have much time for it.

TombRaider 4 will be released on One in November, but for PS4 in holiday 2016, that's kind of a bummer, really enjoyed the last one on Xbox360

The witcher is a great game.

One of the things I found hilarious is that the Baron and his men, a mix of ugly, fat, stupid, violent morons who live in a incredibly depressing crime filled shit hole where it's raining most of the time have Birmingham / Black country accents.

Almost like the makers of the game where trying to say something Laughing

You know as far as a " game " is concerned , F1 isn't all that bad I guess. Just can't get into racing games like this much any more since playing real racing sims like GSC extreme , iracing , AC , ect. I switch back and forth and I always go back to the sims. Hopefully have my new pedals here by November some time , damn 6 month wait on these damn things!

Those pedals looks like they are a "tiny bit" more advanced than my Logitech G25 pedals! What kind of setup do you have? I just got into the whole racing with a wheel and pedals. Really fun!
