So after crashing and breaking my collar bone I decided that it was time to get a new helmet.
After doing some checking around I decided on the Klim F4 helmet. Living in Las Vegas I figured I would try the helmet that supposedly has the best venting because it gets so hot here.
From the reviews that I had seen it sounded like this was where it was at.
Unfortunately I missed the opportunity to ride most of the summer but I had the opportunity to go for a little ride.
First off I was excited to see all of the things the helmet came with:
Super nice helmet bag with side pockets.
Spare Visor and Visor Bolts.
Gore-Tex Windstopper Winter Liner
Breath Deflector
As I took off on my ride I thought that I was going to be feeling a breeze coming through the helmet from all that I had heard. I was a little disappointed that this wasn't the case, but after half the ride I also noticed that there was absolutely no sweat on my head. That is always a good sign and I realized that even though I couldn't feel it, the helmet was doing its job. So it vents and for the winter it comes with a liner to make keep it from venting.
The only gripe that I had was the strap fits so well in the hook that it was a little bit difficult to undo the helmet with my gloves on.
All in all I am really happy with the helmet. Good clean looks. Vents really well and from all I have seen Klim is second to none in quality.
