1/21/2008 11:46 PM I know you have to keep the boss happy, but damn Summers had a lot of praise for the bike. Maybe it's the real deal?

If you really want to improve it, add one of those cheap battery-powered clocks somewhere on the sign at the finish line.m http://www.lanimation.net/images/last20.jpg m |

2/27/2008 12:12 AM It appears that the BMW team lead by Scott Summers will carry the Husqvarna name, not the BMW that they have been testing.
m http://www.racerxill.com/breakingnews/a ... eback.aspx m I don't know exactly what they are building for a finished race bike, but it will have a hard time stacking up to the legandary off-road beasts that Husky built in the early '80's.

I'm pretty sure that the Summers team will be running BMW as well as Husky. If you recall, the BMW riders were announced a few weeks ago. The article referenced in this thread states that 2 riders have been added. Sounds to me like BMW wanted the Summers team to run both BMW and Husky. Which makes sense, since you can actually go out and buy a Husky right now. As far as I know you can't buy the BMW yet. |

2/27/2008 3:06 PM The truth of the matter is there are no BMW's in the states to get race ready. All the testing has been done overseas. They will run the Husky's for the first couple events and then switch when the BMW's are ready. It seems there have been some production troubles and changes with the BMW's.
