Hi Dennis,

just registered and stumbled across your Post.
I am 46, german and live in Frankfurt.
When you arrive in January, it's gonna be winter! Temperatures around freezing, weather all but nice. Most of the not so many tracks nearby will be closed!
I hope to ride, but there is almost only one track, where you can ride, IF it's dry enough. That would be about an hour drive.
Who knows, might still be a fun idea to hang out - I'd get to at least practice my english ;-)

in the two weeks you're here, I'll find time to at least have a couple of german beers and do some us vs. euro bench racing ;-)
