95 CR250R build begins in Oregon!

Picked up this CR this morning for $350. Runs but there is a noise coming from the clutch I'll start with a new clutch. Anyway, compression feels good but I'm pulling the engine out, pulling the head, reed cage, and inspecting before I decide what to do. Going to stop the frame down and PC I think. This won't be a replica, it will just be a one off. I'm thinking mostly white, red frame, red graphics, and such. I'm thinking I will soda blast some stuff also.
I'm going to stick with the KYB forks for now. New springs, new 5.9 shock spring.
I'll be back with questions I'm sure! Glad I found your forum!

Ill second that. I think mine is at about $5000. I know i could spend another $1500-$2000 on billet parts and Ti bolts if i wanted!
