Nice work!
The race went as most people would expect, Crashed twice in the first race, the second of said crashes I was stuck under the bike for two whole laps and eventually had to superman lift the bike off me from a seated position with my left leg stuck under it from the hip down. Second race went a little better but third race was back where i stated, crashed and I don't even know where I finished. The bike ran really good, i'm pretty pleased with the Lectron never once hesitated, even when i was buggered and couldn't be stuffed changing down a gear it just pulled hard...
Basically we had to stay another night in Rockhampton but we didn't care, we where all just glad to be alive. I don't want to get too deep into it but I think this picture sums it up perfectly
It left the husky a little bent up but not as bad as you would think though, Few scratches here and there but Just needs a new expansion chamber, Shift lever and the forks re aligned, hopefully the Powercore 2.1 Ti silencer is straight in the mid section where it meets the expansion chamber. So with this weekends race off the table for obvious reasons it gives me the weekend to strip the wheelsets down, get the hubs blast and cerkoted and rebuild them with the gold rims and spokes I've had sitting here for the last month or so. Plus i just got my new Excel spoke torque wrench in the mail today so I'm pretty keen to swing off this bad boy for a few hours in the shed.
