2017 FC350 - Makin It Mine

Been thinking about a 350 for a while. Decided to pull the trigger last month. Slowly working on making it mine so figured I'd document it here as I go.

Said goodbye to my trusty ol 2015 YZ250F. It really was a great bike.



2 hours later headed home with a freshie.



Grabbed a FMF slip on. Couldn't resist.



Broke it in the only way I know how...very slowly.



Worked up an idea for graphics and Five18 Designs did a pretty damn good job bringing it to life. Also picked up a Guts Racing velcro seat cover, Emig grips, some Acerbis frame guards, and Flo pegs (and my first pair of Airbrakes, which are freaking awesome).









I'll keep log of future mods and thoughts on the bike as I get more comfy with it.

Very nice bike mate! I love the stock look and colours of the Huskys but thats a beautiful and very different looking bike you've made yourself! Most of all the lines all work brilliantly with the bike, kudos to yourself and the graphics company!

Do you notice much of a difference with the airbakes? I have been pining over them for a while now but just can't seem to bring myself to spend £150 on a set of goggles! Blink

I decided to try Airbrakes because I wear contacts and I've been having issues with my eyes drying out. The Airbrakes do a really good job of keeping air from directly hitting your eyes.

Great looking bike! I'm glad you added some red in there, and didn't go with the "everything blue" like is so common.

Nice colour scheme. Do you have any more thorts about the velcro seat cover? Pros/cons , fitment?

Highly recommend! The worst part was taking off the stock one. Fit was perfect and installation is super easy.

I haven't ridden with it yet but it seems like it is on there pretty secure.

Well I've got a few months on the bike now and I am finally getting the hang of riding a 350. It definitely requires it's own style of riding.

The AER forks are surprisingly good, and it didn't take long to find my "home" settings. The shock on the other hand has proved more of a challenge. I was struggling to find a comfortable setting that wasn't too vague or too harsh. I ended up putting on a 450 spring and I'm getting closer and closer to what I'm looking for.
