Vital MX Video Contest

Remember back when video used to be the domain of just a handful of video producers? There were no Mini-DV cams, no non-linear editing, and definitely no desktop computers with enough horsepower to make it all happen.

Of course, now nearly anyone with a relatively modest set of video and computer hardware can turn out some pretty cool creations. Now, having said that, Vital MX would like to see just how creative you can be! Everybody loves a good moto video, and we’d like to see what you can create! Do you have some awesome action of you or your friends? A great crash? Goon riding? How about a documentary-style video? There are few rules or boundaries as to how far you can take this…well, within reason, of course. (Please try and keep your videos PG-rated, any videos deemed distasteful by the judges will be removed from contention). Also, remember that quality will win this contest, not quantity. But there’s also no limit to the number of submissions per user. Just make sure it's your own original content. No poaching copyrighted content and trying to pass it off as your own.

Judging will be based on related content, creativity, use of narration/music, and of course the most important thing, content and entertainment value! There are many ways to determine if your work will be liked by others.

What Can You Win?  Besides becoming a world-famous filmmaker known throughout the universe as everybody tunes into VitalMX.com to see your work, we also have all sorts of great prizes that you can win!  We’re giving away prizes that have been graciously donated by companies that are as excited to see your videos as we are, including DVS, Answer, ProTaper, and MSR.

The Podium Winners








1st Place Our best video winner will have their video placed on the VitalMX.com homepage in the Featured Section for all to see!  Our winner will also get decked out from head to toe in a DVS getup which will include a DVS hat, sweatshirt, t-shirt, and DVS shoes. (We’ll also throw in a Vital MX t-shirt.) To make sure you are kept on the straight and narrow a set of ProTaper Contour Handlebars have also been thrown in.
2nd Place Our runner up will receive a set of ProTaper Contour Handlebars, a sweet Answer Gear Bag, a DVS T-shirt, a DVS Hat, an MSR T-shirt, and a Vital MX T-shirt.
3rd Place A DVS hat, T-shirt, an MSR T-shirt, a Vital MX T-shirt, and a pat on the back from GuyB! (Don’t worry, you can eBay that.)

How to Enter: Simply upload your video in the Vital MX Video section. Sure, you have to be a Vital MX member, but that's free, and signing up is easy.

Deadline: Get your submissions in by August 3rd, 2007. We'll take a look at them all, and select the top three.

Don't forget, once you see videos uploaded in the video section, you can rate and review them yourself. What are you waiting for? Get out there and start shooting and editing!
