Vital MX 12 Days of Christmas: Day 2 314

We love win-win situations, and that's what the Vital MX 12 Days of Christmas is all about. You get to see some cool gift ideas, and also get a chance to win the items you see. Today's goodies come from FMF Racing.

Built at their Southern California factory from aerospace-grade materials, the Aluminum Factory 4.1 RCT slip-on (from $399.99) can be used with an FMF header or your own stock header. It offers big gains in power while also being quieter than stock, thanks to FMF's Resonance Chamber Technology. It features a new core with a patent pending shape that optimizes the exhaust pressure wave, but in a package that's not only quieter, but shorter. That means it's less likely to get damaged in a crash, and the weight is moved closer to the bike's center of mass. Obviously this one has a cool carbon fiber cap, but if you're looking to save a little, you can also get a stainless steel cap version (starting at $374.99). There's even a new RTS (Rapid Tuning System) that makes for easy sound insert changes as well as adding a US Forestry Approved Spark Arrestor.

If you're looking for an added stocking stuffer, no one can ever have too many tie-downs, and the FMF Soft Touch Tie Downs ($29.95) are among our favorites with their unique carabiner buckle that opens easily when you want, but won't come unhooked over bumps or as your gear jostles around in the back of your truck. They also have a built-in strap extenstion that easily fits any size handlebar and protects them from marring and wear. Best of all, they're super-durable.
