Social Scoop

With Supercross over, we have two weekends without racing ahead of us. Until then, we'll have you covered every week with our top picks from around the Social Media world!

Michael's Picks

I'm starting off this week with an in remembrance of Andrew McFarlane, who passed away four years ago on the second of May.

Chad Reed: #repost @byrner26 Miss this guy everyday! The 3 of us paved the way for Aussie mx as we know it today internationally. Was awesome to race such a competitive guy yet my favorite memories are from our year in Europe and when you guys moved to miss ya mate Love ya @mxsharky see you soon #RIP
As you may have saw on our Scoop a few weeks ago, Ken Roczen finally got his motorcycle license. So the guys from Air Trix did up this helmet for him to use on the road. Air Trix also does the majority of Red Bull's helmets, meaning there is always something cool to check out on their Instagram.

Air Trix Paint: NOW @kenroczen94 helmet is coming together! Little more stripping to go. #airtrix @houseofkolorna @pinstripeporn #houseofkolor #silverleaf #goldleaf
Whenever the races hit Vegas I always end up hearing stories of "You'll never guess who I met!". Well Cooper Webb's mechanic Matt got the proof, he snagged himself a picture with Mike Tyson at a Dunkin Donuts.

Matt Winters: Me and @miketyson getting some dunkin donuts this morning.
Last week I had a video of Anthony Rodriguez hitting a huge step-down out at Cahuilla. This week I have one of Darryn Durham throwing some style off it as well... still looks big...

Darryn Durham: What goes up must come down! And yes, I accidentally jumped this to flat today.
Remember, if you see Malcolm Stewart at a track or race near you... Ask for a selfie.

Malcolm Stewart: Wish me and @therealjs7 good luck today! Come by and take #Selfies with us
Speaking of Mike Tyson, looks like Wilson's mechanic Olly Stone may have gotten some boxing lessons from him while he was in Las Vegas.

Dean Wilson: @olly_stone smoked me! I can still put him on the ground tho.
I've no words for these whips...

Justin Barcia: #Whip

Scottie's Picks

Jason Anderson "still can't believe" Well believe it bro, Congrats Champ!!

Jason Anderson: Still can't believe I did it!
After an amazing turn of events on the East side, Justin Bogle came out on top. Such an amazing accomplishment, considering how he overcame some truly devastating pre-season injuries.

Vital MX: Way to go @captain891 1E. @fchonda #supercross
Justin Hill took home the East vs West Challenge.

Justin Hill: Vegas was good to me! Took the EastWest Shootout Win just to top off an already good night of puttin my bike on the box.. Thanks to my team @pcraceteam @j_shan_ @monteturndown @johnnylouch #gladiators
Ken Roczen recently celebrated his 20th birthday. I'm sure after the Vegas SX next year, he'll be able to truly celebrate. His 3rd overall in the SX series is still quite a debut for a rookie. Happy belated birthday Kenny!!!

Pete Fox: Next year this will probably be a cold beer, but for now it's a #RedBull Happy 20th Birthday @kenroczen94 #fox #kenroczen #motocross #mx #supercross #sx #motolife #foxracing #iwilldrinkoneforyoubuddy #cheers
Jimmy Albertson and Trey Canard have a little fun.

Jimmy Albertson: @treycanard and I havin a little fun on the last day of Sx practice this season! @mrussell24fit killing the camera work! @flyracingusa @motosportinc @crosslandracing
Denny Stephenson shows off his first ever painted helmet! I love all these throwbacks from past (and present) riders.

Denny Stephenson: My first ever painted helmet, by my friend (Jeff Long) @theimage1... "The Brain". Up til this point I had done all my own helmets w a combination of vinyl stickers & electrical tape. Jeff was a part of the rowdy Dallas crew and I told him to pretty much do whatever he wanted with it. All I asked for was the "Jane Says... Idiots Rule" on the back. Clearly a Janes Addiction fan. He delivered it to me at the 1989 Dallas SX. Thanks again for the one of a kind lid JL. #tbt #bell5 #idiotsrule
James Stewart didn't have the result he was looking for in Vegas, but he did flashback to the old "Bubbalicious" zebra stripes.

James Stewart: Not the way I wanted to end the season. Had Fork malfunction the first lap of the main. Bummed out but we had a great SX season up until the last 2 weeks but overall we improved all year. Excited for the 2 week break & ready to get MX started. Thx to my team & fans for the awesome support.
You aren't alone Ryne!!

Ryne Swanberg:#tbt I'm ready for the great outdoors...
One of the things we love so much about Josh Hill, is that he will always push the limits.

Josh Hill: I find a new quad everyday. Getting amped for Vegas!
Until next week, whip it out and play with it!

Troy Lee Designs: Nice shot of TLD's @BHud96 doing his thing high above the vineyards of Temecula, CA! #TLD #FMX #repost @fmf73 @twmxdotcom
