Pit Stop: Works Connection 4

One fun part of doing the summer tour during the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship is stopping by to visit with some of our friends in the industry. We'd have been making a big mistake if we hadn't stopped by Works Connection, since they're less than a half-hour up highway 50 from Hangtown. Let's peek at what they've got cooking.

In the time since our last official visit there, they've moved into a new facility. This one has a whole lot more elbow space for offices, warehouse, assembly, and fun projects.

The batch of goodies in the showcase was plentiful and certainly drool-worthy.

The RCH Racing Soaring Eagle team recently switched from factory lever setup to a Works Connection perch/lever/adjuster.

We've had good luck with Works Connection stands. They're good, sturdy stuff.

Works Connection's owner, Eric Phipps, has a small, but growing collection of vintage bikes in the lobby.

In a workshop we found one a couple of the latest projects. There's a very cool vintage Z50 Honda, and this one, which will be Steve Lamson replica.

Shawn Ralls has some fun toys in his office. Yes, we did, "Huh-huh, huh-huh," at this one.

There's just something cool about a batch of well-machined and anodized parts waiting for final assembly. The Pro Launch Start Device has been a big product for the WC guys.

Works Connection has had triple clamp stem nuts for a while now, and they're pre-drilled for safety wire. But they recently added expanded that line to include KTMs.
