Must-See Photo: Daytona Mud 2

There's catching some roost, and then there's being so filled in with mud that you look like you're coated in chocolate. That's what PJ Larsen ran into during the Lites main event at Daytona. If you didn't get a start in the top two or three spots, chances were that you'd get coated with soupy spray on a pass through the ponds that inhabited one lane that ran along pit road. We'd guess that's what caused him to toss his eye protection to begin with. Then on a subsequent pass, he caught another drenching. This one had him so covered that he stopped in the track, and it was obvious that he wanted to reach up and clear his eyes, but he knew that his gloves were similarly coated. Not a good spot to be in.

PJ finished 16th on the night.
