We recently caught up with Carson City, California’s Mike Mason for a candid conversation about where he’s at, and what it takes to compete in freestyle. What we left with was how he’s still a competitive guy, but how much tougher it’s gotten to compete at the top levels of freestyle. Also, despite some of his self-depricating jabs at himself, he’s still very competitive, and he bagged a bronze medal at the X Games…no easy feat.
