With Vital MX officially past our one-year anniversary (we launched August 15th, 2006), we figured it was time for a brand-new Vital MX t-shirt. But generating the new design ourselves, we wanted to leave it up to the Vital MX membership. Whether you’re a graphic designer or just someone with a cool idea for a t-shirt, here’s your chance to hit the big-time, and get rewarded for it. Follow all of the instructions below and send us a design you think would be a hit. The winning design will score one hundred bucks plus a batch of the finished shirts, so get on it.
Details:
Create your design in a program like Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop (if you use Photoshop, make sure your artwork is at least 150 dpi at actual size). Place the design on our t-shirt template so we know how it should be positioned, and make the template the color you think the finished t-shirt should be. Send us both your design (without the template), and a low-res jpg (shouldn’t exceed 100k) of the design and template. Email your submission to sgiberson@vitalmx.com, with a subject line of “t-shirt contest,” and don’t forget to include your name and contact info. Submissions must be received by September 20, 2007.
Judging:
We’ll put some of our favorite submissions on the site for Vital MX members to vote on and give us feedback, but the final decision is ours.
