Vital's Take: Being back on a two-stroke in Supercross sure has to be different. We're jealous of the Aussie fans that get to see Chad Reed and Ricky Carmichael go at it for a little two-stroke exhibition race.

Thumpers leveled the playing field. Stew and RV probably would have never lost a moto except to each other if it weren't for thumpers. That's what makes Eli's 90 second win at Hangtown so impressive (well it is still impressive for sure but ya know what i mean ). Wouldn't be as big a deal if everyone was on a smoker.!

Did they ever have the smoker race? Searched for video of them on the 250's and thought I heard that Reed found Carmichael a borrowed RM250 but can't find it.
