2007 Amp'd Mobile Supercross Series: Indianapolis Photo Gallery and Results

After winning the opening round of the Lites East series in Atlanta, Makita Suzuki's Ryan Dungey had a tough streak of luck, stalling out of a podium spot in St. Louis, not qualifying for the main event in Daytona, and getting taken out on a start by a bike that came from another lane in Orlando. While that may have knocked him out of championship contention, there's no doubt that he's had plenty of speed, and he returned to the top of the Lites podium on Saturday night. In the Lites East title chase, Yamaha of Troy's Ryan Morais finished fourth, and with some bad luck for his championship rivals (Darcy Lange tangled with a rider in the first turn of the main event and fell deep in the pack), he extended his points lead to ten with two rounds remaining.

In the Supercross class, Monster Energy Kawasaki's James Stewart got pinched on the start, and came around the first turn next-to-last, while his primary championship rival, Chad Reed (San Manuel Band of Mission Indians / Yamaha), had holeshot the race. It took 14 laps, but James blitzed through the pack, reeled in Reed, and took his ninth win of the season, all while extending his points lead to 32 points over Reed.
